To transition from the ISO 9001: 2008 certification to ISO 9001: 2015, the SIRIM QAS audit team led by Mdm. Hanida Ghazali together with Mdm. Asiyah Haron and Mdm. Mary Ngu will conduct MS ISO 9001: 2015 surveillance audit for three days from 18 to 20 December 2017.
The opening meeting in conjunction with the surveillance audit was chaired by Prof. Dr. Huda Ibrahim, who was performing the duties of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) and also representing the Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the University Management Committee (JPU). The meeting was held at the Academic Affairs Department Meeting Room yesterday.
Prof. Dr. Huda said the university would continue to give its commitment and adhere to the government's call in ensuring quality management system. According to her, UUM has always been open to accepting any suggestions or suggestions for the purpose of the improvement.
"I hope all university students can give full commitment and cooperation throughout the process of the surveillance audit," she said.
Meanwhile, SIRIM QAS audit representative, Mdm. Hanida Ghazali said the audit was a surveillance audit and to upgrade the ISO 9001: 2008 certification to ISO 9001: 2015.
The auditors appointed by SIRIM QAS will conduct audit visits to the various Centres of Authorities and Schools at UUM during the three days of the audit exercise.
